A disproportionate number of those killed were black.
Blacks are at least 3x more likely to be killed by the police than their while peers. Actually, some stats show that blacks are 9x more likely to be killed by the police in certain areas.
25% of the blacks killed were unarmed.
As a statement of fact, police departments across the country had no reliable data about police killings until 2015.
